What is Tubing?
Tubing is a hollow wrought product that is long in relation to its cross-section. Tubing can be produced as a seamless or welded product, with sharp or rounded corners.
What is a Pipe?
A Pipe is a round cylindrical tube made from metal that is primarily designed to carry or transport a medium such as fluids or gases.
Tube & Pipe Applications
The major applications for tubing are centered around structural applications, spacers, bearings, and other manufactured products. In addition, copper and brass tubing can be produced to carry fluid or gases from one point to another.

A Pipe has generally fewer applications than a Tube. Pipes are also used as a casing or housing for electrical wire in above ground or underground applications. Similar to Tubes, Pipes can be manufactured in either a seamless or welded process. Pipes are also used in Building and Construction, Fire Suppression, Clean and Wastewater Movement, General Plumbing, Chemical plants, Oil and Gas, Refining, HVAC and Irrigation applications.
